Halloween Party-- ODD Style!

Hello Odd-readers! It has been a while, hasn’t it? Well, a lot has happened since we last talked in June so let’s catch up first!

  • To begin, we have welcomed FIVE new members to our Odditeam- Emilly, Taylor, Susan, Tommie-lyn, Edgar, and Sam! We are so excited to have them and to see our team grow!

  • Noah and John have departed from the team to begin new adventures! We will miss them and wish them the best in their future endeavors!

  • COVID cases spiked over the summer. In order to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our fellow team mates, we have adopted a temporary hybrid system; part of the team works in the office, and part of the team work from home.

However, despite our physical locations, we are nevertheless still ODD! We strive to continue caring for one another and to continue having fun as a team. Who said a gathering has to be done in the same spot? (apart from maybe the dictionary)

With spooky season slowly approaching to an end, what better way to commemorate it than with a Halloween Party!

Now, you may be asking yourself, how are they going to manage that being in separate locations?

Well this is how!

First thing is first, everyone loves spooky baskets! The party committee (Salina, Karen, Emilly, Taylor, and Susan) went out to find the perfect little treats for everyone and assembled these spooky baskets. Thank you! After assembly, they were delivered to the doorstep of those who are currently working from home.

We also all came to work dressed up in costumes. We had pokemons, gypsie ninjas, basketball stars, Cat Woman, hippies, and a devil. Quite a team if I do say so myself!

I have had the same costume for years, a cow onesie. They are expensive! Might as well use it more than once.

Towards the end of the day, we participated in the Lizzie Borden House Virtual Ghost tour. It was a lot of information to take in. It had us all speculating. Do you think she did it?

Until next time!
